Aluminum Rolling Outrigger Beam

WARNING!
No splice connection allowed at,
or in front of, the fulcrum point.

Bolt top bracket onto front
of beam with single 3/4" bolt
through the beam rigging hole.

3. Mount the Under Beam to the Down Tube with the Lower Bracket Assy.
   Adjustment holes are provided to set the return reach (max. 4 ft).
   Tighten all four 3/4" bolts.
4. Fasten Hanger Strap and tighten 3/4" bolt.
5. Position the desired adjustment hole in the Down Tube at the top hole
   of the Upper Bracket. Insert the Pivot Tube into the Down Tube and
   guide a 3/4" bolt through the top of the Upper Bracket and through
   the Down Tube as well as the Pivot Tube.

6. Mount counterweights to the beam according to the beam label, or following the counterweight formula. NOTE: Subtract the Under Beam return reach from the Top Beam reach to arrive at correct net outreach.
7. Fasten winch cable to Pivot Tube eye and crank winch to raise the bracket off the roof.
8. Fasten the Wire Rope to the Hanger Strap.
9. Push the Rolling Outrigger Beam forward into position.

10. Lower the Down&Under Bracket with Winch.
11. Insert and fasten 3/4" bolt in bottom hole of the Upper Bracket.
12. Position Rollling Outrigger in final location and raise the jacks.
13. Fasten tieback cable and suspend platform.

CW CALCULATION FOR THE DOWN & UNDER SYSTEM:
In the counterweight formula, the net outreach to be used is the distance between the fulcrum point and the suspension wire rope.
